Term 3, Week 8

This week we started doing a project for our Inquiry. We could choose out of dance, art, drama or music. I chose art, I want to find out more about making painting more realistic. We did our plans for our project.

This week week was the best fitness we have ever had. We did skipping! It is one of my favourite things to do when I get bored.

We sang our production songs. My favourite song that we sing is called Heigh Ho. I can’t tell you any more about the production because you’ll have to find out on the night. We are starting to make a prop for the production which is a bush.

This week we did instructional writing. I wrote how to play soccer. Ashley wrote how to make a friendship bracelet. We wrote our own spells and pretended we were witches and wizards.

We read the book ‘The Magic Finger’. It’s about a girl. When she sees red, her finger starts tingling and when she points it at someone magic happens. You will not believe what happened to the Gregg family. It was funny they got turned into ducks.

We went to Room 11 with Mrs Massey and we did sewing. We had a choice of a smiley face, a circle, a love heart or your initial.  It was fun and hard.

Belle had a birthday this week and so did Connor and Kobe's dad.
The best part of the week was swinging on the monkey bars at lunchtime. - Ashley
