Term 3, Week 7
Term 3, Week 7 - Written by Jed and Sophie
Hi my name is Sophie and my name is Jed. We are the class reporters this week. On Monday we looked at the notices and it said we were class of the week for Mathletics! We felt really happy and excited.
This week for the arts rotation we went to Room 10. We made a really cool picture that said ‘Today is going to be awesome’. We did a little bit of it each. It was fun.
Here’s what we did:
9+7=
You take one from the seven and add it to the nine to make ten. Then you add six and it equals sixteen. We also played lots of different maths games.
In writing we wrote a narrative. A narrative needs a character, setting and a problem. I made up a character called Lightning Ninja. He can’t die and likes meditating. He has fire for hair.
Here's my one...
Once upon a time there lived a little girl called Kelsea. She had red hair, blue eyes and she was very quiet. She had a really big problem! She didn't have a home. All she had was a tent, clothes and food. She felt lonely and sad and stayed around the town. One day she asked Miss Honey if she could work at the bakery. She said yes. She was so happy. She wrote a thank you card. After a couple of months she had heaps of money to buy a big house. She lived happily ever after.

Our favourite part of the week was the tree art we started with Mrs Lowe.
