Term 3, Week 4

On Monday we shared really cool news about the rugby. Alyvia danced there and I met Beauden Barrett, Ryan Crotty, Sam Whitelock and Sonny Bill Williams. It was awesome!

On Wednesday it was the fun run. Here’s what I wrote about it….

On Wednesday it was the school fun run. It was muddy! People were covered in mud. When it was the Year 3’s turn I felt like I had butterflies in my tummy. Mrs Dodd blew the whistle. Off we go!! The Year 3's are off! I was in first place. No, a cone! I jumped the cone and then I was in fourth place. Someone face planted on the ground. I did my lap and I came fourth place. I felt sad.

In class we made passwords so we can publish our writing. We had to have a number in it and you have to keep them safe.

We started to make our book week costumes. First we found a book we all liked which was ‘The Day the Crayons Quit!’. Next we made hats and on Friday we made posters.

In writing we had ‘must haves’. Look I ticked them off! We wrote about our dream bedrooms. Mine had a chocolate fire and a lolly field.
