Term 3 - Week 2
Term 3, Week 2. Written by Paige Aylward
This week was fantastic and amazing because we did some fun things. This week in reading we have been doing some different things like handwriting, buddy reading and plays. We performed ‘The Clown Statue’ play to the class in our reading groups. We learnt division in maths and fractions. We pretended we were working at the cookie factory and shared the cookies into packets. With Mrs Lowe we made fraction kites. We finished our amazing Korowai cloak!
I have lived with my granny…..Fib! I never stay with her.
I want to become a famous netball player when I’m older…..Fact! I am already playing netball.
At Valley School Johnny came and taught us some different things like singing songs, drums and stories. There was a story about people living in a village and drums were used for communication. He told us about different instruments like the drums, harmonia, shaker and one we named Wilson, but that was a joke. I liked it because he showed different instruments.
We carried on doing our art work and we have been bringing in things for news that show off our talents and passions! The best part of my week was Rhythm Interactive.
