On Monday Science in a van came to Valley School. They did some really cool tricks. They got a board and cups full of water and swung it around. The water didn’t fall out of the cups. The best part about it was the table trick.

In reading we looked at Kiwikidsnews.co.nz and we wrote down the catchy titles. This week we pretended to be reporters in a newsroom and we wrote our own newspaper. Our papers were called 'The Chloe Gazette' and 'Hurricanes vs Chiefs'. We wrote an ad, an article about something that happened to us and a report on cake day. We came up with our own price and website.

This week we played dodge ball with Room 8 and 12 in the hall. On Thursday we learnt about 3D shapes. In Maori we learnt how to plait with flax. In maths we learnt about North, South, East and West and created our own maps.
